The department of school education is a branch of the Government of Tamil Nadu. This department oversees the administration of elementary, primary, and secondary education throughout the state. In Virudhunagar district, school of education is a governmental organization tasked with the management and supervision of all public schools. It is crucial in maintaining quality of  education and fostering inclusive learning environments for every student in the district.
