Abstract

Employee absenteeism is a major concern for organizations as it directly affects productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. This study examines the causes, types, and impact of absenteeism among employees at ABT Logistics. The research focuses on identifying key factors such as health issues, job dissatisfaction, work stress, and poor working conditions that contribute to absenteeism. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 110 employees, and tools like percentage analysis and chi-square tests were applied for interpretation. The findings reveal that absenteeism is significantly influenced by both personal and organizational factors. The study concludes with suggestions to reduce absenteeism through better working conditions, employee engagement, and welfare measures
