A study on online learners awareness about academic misconduct

Abstract

The debate is not knew that which type of education is best The classroom/Face to Face learning, Online learning or a blend of both.Before the arrival of the pandemic there was a different landscape as Face to Face learning was prevalent and online education was confined to a very limited groups and there was no generalization of online education it was used as an alternative and it was not mandatory for all to implement online mode of learning, but since past two years an unexpected shift is forcefully implemented. But with the mass implementation of online learning in primary, secondary as well as tertiary education the must asked question is what about the academic integrity, Academic conduct or ethical conduct in the online education era? It is imperative to know about the learner’s level of awareness as well as their perception about the question raised above. This study tries to investigate the awareness of learners about academic misconducts and what they think about using unethical strategies in the temptation of getting good grades without putting honest efforts. This  study is carried with an intention to understand the level of awareness amongst the learners about academic misconduct .A Structured questionnaire was used as an instrument to collect responses and data collected will be analyzed statistically to draw the conclusion.
