In 2015, the UN introduced the 2030 Global Agenda, marking a significant decision to move forward with the pursuit of sustainable development. In order to envision a future free from poverty, hunger, disease, and conflict, where all life forms can flourish, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an international policy agenda that aims to create a secure, resilient, and sustainable society. The goal of the study is to determine how far India has to go to reach the SDGs at the national and subnational levels in order to evaluate the country's performance in reaching sustainability by 2030. Using a composite index, the current state of India's SDG primary targets is examined in this study. A cluster analysis was also conducted to look at the issues unique to each region and each concern.
