Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the healthcare industry by improving the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of medical services. AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing enable computers to analyse large volumes of medical data, identify patterns, and assist healthcare professionals in making informed decisions. These technologies are widely used in medical imaging, disease diagnosis, drug discovery, patient monitoring, and personalized treatment planning. AI-powered systems help detect diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart conditions at an early stage by analysing medical images and patient records with high precision. Additionally, AI-driven predictive analytics can forecast disease outbreaks, monitor patient health remotely, and optimize hospital management systems. Virtual health assistants and chatbots also support patients by providing medical information and scheduling healthcare services. Despite its advantages, the integration of AI in healthcare faces challenges such as data privacy concerns, ethical issues, high implementation costs, and the need for reliable datasets.

However, with continuous technological advancements and proper regulatory frameworks, AI has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by improving patient outcomes, reducing medical errors, and enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services.
