Author Name Kallol Chakrabarti Independent Researcher ORCID: 0009 0007 4971 8936 Abstract The Rhetoric Teacher Program (RTP) is an innovative educational initiative targeting middle school students (grades 5–8), designed to address contemporary societal challenges such as radicalization, ethical decline, and harmful cultural attitudes. RTP aims to cultivate students' communication skills, cultural awareness, and moral clarity. Drawing upon the philosophical insights of the Bhagavad Gita (Easwaran, 1985), the rhetorical principles of Aristotle (Kennedy, 2007; Aristotle, ca. 4th century BCE), and the developmental psychology of Kohlberg (1981), the program integrates value-based pedagogy with rhetorical instruction. This paper outlines RTP’s theoretical framework, methodology, and anticipated impact while presenting preliminary findings from a pilot study. Results indicate that RTP fosters students’ rhetorical skills, cultural awareness, and moral reasoning, underscoring its potential to prepare ethical, informed, and socially responsible citizens. Keywords: Rhetoric, Moral Development, Cultural Awareness, Ethical Communication, Middle School Education
