Digital literacy has emerged as a critical determinant of employability and economic empowerment in the contemporary knowledge economy. Women working in the unorganized sector often face multiple barriers, including limited access to education, technology, financial resources, and employment opportunities. The increasing penetration of digital technologies presents significant opportunities for enhancing their livelihoods, productivity, and socio-economic status. This study examines the role of digital literacy in creating employment opportunities for women in the unorganized sector. It explores the relationship between digital skills and employability, identifies challenges faced by women in acquiring digital competencies, and highlights the potential of digital inclusion initiatives. The study concludes that digital literacy significantly contributes to improving employment prospects, entrepreneurial capabilities, and financial inclusion among women in the unorganized workforce. Policy interventions, skill development programs, and infrastructure support are essential to maximize these benefits.
