The Government have recognised the plight of farmers particulars tenant farmers in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Central Government and the State Governments have launched many programmes for the development of the farmers in general and tenant farmers in particular. The Indian government offered several schemes to support farmers including income support, social security, and agricultural infrastructure development. Key schemes include Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PM-KMJ), Pradhan Mantri Fisal Bima Yojana (PM-FBY), National Mission on Edible Oils-Oilseeds (NMEO-OS). Rainfed Area Development (RAD). Agri-Start-Ups (Krishi Navodyama), Crop Insurance Schemes and Interest subvention for Dairy Development. The farmers have to benefit with all these programmes of the Government of India. With regard to the tenant farmers, they will not get any direct benefit with all these schemes except Pradhan Mantri Maandhan Yojana.
