Sethu is a writer who demonstrated original creative prowess by introducing different narrative strategies into the history of Malayalam novel literature. Recognizing that existing methods were insufficient to articulate the complex human mind and human relationships, he expressed a contemporary picture of life's rational and irrational states in a unique way. These works simultaneously led the reader to subtle levels of enjoyment and into a hallucinatory state. The novel 'Pandavapuram' imparted a new sensibility that Malayalam readers had not experienced before. This paper investigates the psychological perspectives in 'Pandavapuram,' focusing on 'Devi,' the main character of the novel.
