This paper presents a new IoT (Internet of Things)framework for conditionmonitoring and controlling oflargernumberofdistributiontransformersastheyareoneoftheinfluential and important equipment in the power distributionnetwork. Toprotecttransformeragainstdifferenttypesoffaults,variousmethodsgetused.Inthissystem,overloadprotectionisestablishedforprotectionoftransformer.Relayconnected to the microcontroller is used to protect transformer.
