Abstract

In order to enable brain-controlled gadgets, Elon Musk founded Neuralink in 2016. This cutting-edge technology combines artificial intelligence (AI), brain-machine interfaces (BMI), and brain-computer interfaces (BCI). Its main objectives are to treat neurological conditions including Parkinson's disease and paralysis and to enhance sensory and motor abilities. A gadget called "the LINK," created by Neuralink, can read brain impulses and boost neural signal transmission. In order to prepare for potential human trials, the technology has been tested on animals such as pigs and monkeys. Applications include helping people with spinal cord injuries, enabling bedridden people to use computers, and developing mind-reading technologies to identify emotions and regulate fundamental brain processes. Notwithstanding its revolutionary potential in neuroscience and medicine, Neuralink also poses moral and practical difficulties.[4]
