Jelesteen and RAGU RUDHRESH KUMARA VADIVEL Abstract Social entrepreneurship is the process of implementing meaningful and long-lasting social change, and it is a more inclusive phrase than a typical non-governmental organization (NGO). This idea is becoming increasingly important in the study of voluntary, non-profit, and not-for-profit organizations. Prior until now, organizations that addressed significant social concerns were seen as idealistic, philanthropic, and enterprising. Social entrepreneurship is growing in India mostly because the government is eager to encourage it, not necessarily by giving financial or advisory support but by making it feasible. The corporate sector's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has played a significant role in enhancing the reputation of social entrepreneurship by providing fully operational action teams and appropriately allocated funds.The article's primary objective is to examine the most recent initiatives taken by various social entrepreneurs as well as the developing patterns of social entrepreneurship in India.
