Rayalaseema is a historically significant region in southern Andhra Pradesh consisting mainly of the districts of Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur, and Chittoor. The region is known for its ancient temples, forts, caves, pilgrim centers, and rich cultural traditions. Tourism development in Rayalaseema has evolved gradually from religious travel and heritage exploration to modern eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, and infrastructure-based tourism.
