This paper examines the role and impact of AI technologies on English Language Learning and Teaching. AI is rapidly transforming English language learning and teaching by introducing innovative tools that personalize instruction, enhance engagement and streamline educational process. AI technologies such as intelligent tutoring systems, chatbots, language learning apps and automated assessment tools helps in reshaping both classroom and independent learning experiences. These tools offer real time feedback, adaptive content and interactive simulations, allowing learners to develop linguistic skills more effective and at their own pace. This paper advocates for a balanced and ethical integration of AI in English language education. It highlights the importance of teacher training in AI literacy and the development of hybrid teaching models that combine technological efficiency with human insight. Ultimately, when thoughtfully applied, AI has the potential to significantly enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of English language learning and teaching.
