Unlike conventional assistive systems that operate in isolation—either focusing on object detection or emergency communication—VisionMate introduces an integrated safety loop that detects, analyzes, decides, and responds in real time. The system employs a YOLO-based object detection model for environmental sensing and a relational database structure for secure data management. By combining environmental awareness with emergency preparedness, VisionMate promotes inclusivity, independence, and confidence.
